I put my head in the heart of a world; and that world is burning
Crust mired in unholy gases, a curtain concealing endless decay
Crocodile tears, stigmatized serpent
Reptilian skin now frail again
All vengeful phantasms culling in vain like long dead leaves homesick to their stem
Like a blood moon, the great tree wanes: an age in dejection looms behind the drapes
When dead roots drop from her noisome body, seeds of penury scatter like gems in the waste
She once flourished, a duchess of light; now harlequin betrothed to anguish
A dove denied its musing flight, and a shepherd with flock fallen to madness
A beacon wreathed in erratic flame destined to collapse – As all fires must
Like a martyr and bleeding heart married, to die forsaken and trampled to dust
I’ve knocked all my arrows, I’m eager to let loose of the bow
I’ve corrupted my heart waiting for death
It is not mine which paints the portrait of woe
Like ivy, she takes - Kindred to the sea
The day may yet come she returns my hope to me
Her womb now barren and tears never cease
An inferno burns at her core – Ablaze evermore
Fire sleeps its restless heart in her arms, beneath the tree at the end of fate
Sire in the grasp of her Earthen charms, rocked by the waves crashing on her skull
Caressed by her breath, pregnant with hateful storms
Her molten heart, weeping fire to exact her scorn
All will be spared from harm: this fire asleep in her arms
Blessed be, eternally in my arms, beneath the tree at the end of all paths
Sire the roots that thrive beneath my bridge
Demonstrate penitence, execute wrath

I crave this kind of deeply fucked up black metal. So impenetrable and alien, you can't help but wonder about the mind that conceived it. Mad chanting and wailing against a backdrop of twisting riffs brought here from some Other Place. Dreadful and beautiful. Keep an eye on Sunset. The recent split with Trhä is just as intense.
